Digging into the Easter baskets.
Reagan got a Frozen 2 necklace. She loves it.
Sawyer trying his first peep. He is team Peep.
The Easter bunny left us a fun Easter egg hunt.
Sawyer was big enough to do it this year!
Reagan loved it!
Avery and Kendall were really nice and let the little kids get the easy ones on the ground.
Baskets stuffed with eggs!
The hard to find eggs had money!
Our Easter feast this year was parmesan encrusted salmon with a dijon white wine cream sauce.
Everyone liked it! We loved listening to Conference all weekend. Tyler was off both Saturday and Sunday! Woohoo!
Avery turned 8 on April 6th!
I got her a birthday crown and ribbon to wear to school.
This girl loves attention.
She had a nice pile of presents.
We did our family party on her actual birthday on Tuesday.
Everyone wanted to help her open gifts.
Our neighbors, the Birds, brought Avery a present. They gave her a super cute swim suit with oranges on it. I recently bought Reagan a new swim suit with peaches on it so now they are fruit swimsuit twins! Reagan wanted to go put her swimsuit on as soon as Avery tried hers on. I need to find one for Kendall now I guess!
Avery's birthday treat was brownies with ice cream!
Grandma Engstrom flew in on Avery's birthday!
While the big girls were at school we took the littles to the zoo.
The weather was perfect! April is really great in Texas.
They loved the flamingos and we probably stayed her for 30 minutes!
They also loved petting the goats.
It's nice to slow down and let them explore what they want to.
Got my first COVID vaccine!
It was so fast and easy. My arm was sore for two days, but no other side effects.
On Friday my Dad and Grandma flew in. We drove down to Waco with just Reagan.
Tyler was off and he stayed home with Sawyer. Reagan loved all the attention!!
We stopped at Twisted Root burgers for lunch.
Ready to go explore!
The three of us got tired of being in the shop so we went outside to wait on the grass.
Such a beautiful day!
My mom and Grandma haven't seen the new little shops so they had fun checking those out.
We all came home with some treasures of course!
Great Grandma Chandler gave Avery a special towel for her baptism day.
All ready for the baptism!
Sawyer really wanted to be in the picture.
Avery felt so loved having her grandparents here all the way from Colorado!
Avery and her Daddy.
Sister Bird brought Avery a special doll all dressed in white.
So proud of Avery. What a happy day!
Grateful for all the support from family near and far!
Forgot to take a picture of the zoom family, but we appreciated you being there too!
4 generations of mothers and daughters!
After the baptism we got on zoom for Jessie's baby shower!
It was fun to be together for it!
We played some games and watched her open presents.
We're so excited for Jessie and Bryce! Less than 2 months to go!
After the shower we had to prep for Avery's friend birthday party! It was a crazy day.
They did a water color craft.
Tyler and Reagan doing one together.
They played charades. That was a big hit!
Opened presents!
(And Adelyn let Avery wear her cat pajamas lol)
Everyone checking out the new Hatchimals.
We have the best neighbors. We love that the girls have some built in friends in the neighborhood.
They had a late over and watched Raya and the Last Dragon.
Everyone had a fun time!
Grandma brought some birdhouses for the kids to paint.
She spoils them with fun activities.
Our little artist loved it.
Sawyer was so wiped out he fell asleep on Grandma during lunch.
Reagan helping me a make a pie crust for strawberry pie.
She loves using the mini rolling pin Grandma Hedman brought us at Thanksgiving.
Kendall gave Grandma lots of drawing lessons.
She keeps saying she wants to start her own youtube channel! lol!
Grandma brought some seeds for them to plant.
Reagan fell asleep on Great Grandma while she was reading her a story.
Forgot to take a picture of my strawberry pie before I cut into it.
But it was delicious! And everyone was admiring my cute plates from Natalie I served them on!
Time to go. Everyone was so sad.
We feel blessed to have family that takes the time to come visit us all the way down here in Texas.
Till next time!
