Nature walk

The challenge this month is to see who can row 500 meters the fastest.

We babysat Scout for the weekend. Everyone loves her.

Grandma sent Tyler and Avery an alligator head for their nature collection!

Sawyer helped me vote in the city council election. #adulting

Dad caught a frog while he was mowing the lawn.

The kids loved chasing it around.

Reagan is starting to draw people!

We found a new nature preserve to explore.

I took a risk and didn't bring a stroller or backpack to carry Sawyer. 

(I didn't know if it would be stroller friendly)

He did awesome and walked most of it!

Avery is an awesome big sister.

Avery found some big rocks to jump on. 

We need to come back with Tyler to explore more!

The big freeze killed some of our bushes so I've been ripping them out.

I'm working on replacing them. So far I've added a rose bush and a hydrangea bush.

I'm excited to have some color in the landscaping!

The Young Women have been doing a lot of prep activities for Girls Camp that have been keeping me busy. (I go to Hobby Lobby a lot)

Adelyn invited Avery and Kendall to come watch her riding lesson.

Found tulips at Walmart for $5 :)

Avery has been dealing with a really bad allergic reaction to something.

She said she laid down in the wood chips at recess and that's when it started itching.

It's been 6 days now and it's finally starting to get better.

Her face got all puffy and red. She didn't even look like herself!

I had to go get her early from school one day because it was so bad. Poor girl!

We booked a last minute trip to Cancun next week for our anniversary.

Grandma Engstrom is coming out to watch the kids! woohoo! We are excited to get away!
