So excited to be in our very own house!
We've been super busy getting moved in and most of what I do these days is run errands for the house. But we are finally all settled and just working on adding furniture a little at a time and making it feel like home.
Our first big purchase for the house - a new fridge!
The girls had to sleep on the ground for a few days before Tyler had time to build their bunk beds. They thought it was pretty fun, but they love their bunk beds even more! In their prayers they thank frequently Heavenly Father for their bunk beds.
Avery and Reagan really love each other.
Trying out rugs.
Avery changed schools when we moved. Now she goes to one of the coveted choice schools in the district. She hasn't had any trouble adjusting to the new school, but her teacher tells me she is too chatty in class and won't focus on her work.
Avery always wants to play with Reagan when she gets home from school.
Supervising Daddy changing the oil on the car.
Got Tyler's keepsake trunks!
I watched the Mari Kondo show on Netflix and decided to try folding the girls clothes because they don't fit in the drawers. It's been 3 weeks and they are still folded!! Kendall especially likes folding her clothes the special way and they have been good about keeping the clothes neat. I didn't think it would last and I've been pleasantly surprised!
Made bagels for Sally's baking challenge. Turned out so good!
Kendall still takes a nap most days and then stays up till 10 every night.
I don't really mind because she just keeps me company and colors or reads books while I work on my computer. It's kind of fun to have special time with her.
Bought our first TV ever! We've been surviving with the 32 inch I won at BYU when I was a sophomore. And the remote hasn't worked in years.
We got a 65 inch Samsung smart tv and we're convinced tvs don't get any better.
I single-handedly built two shelving units for the garage.
I came out from putting Reagan to bed and Kendall was in the process of bringing the play table back upstairs. In her little baby brain she thought this was possible. Gotta admire her grit tho!
Made a fire in our fireplace!!
It's been so cold here and rainy all weekend.
And had to make s'mores of course!
Reagan's room. The bathroom is a jack n jill that connects to the big girls room.
Avery and Kendall's room with their beloved bunk beds.
Upstairs family room/play room.
Angle from the other side.
View from the playroom down to the kitchen/living room.
Reagan reading books to herself tonight.
She's 15 months now.
View from the front door.
The study next to the front door. We have the piano and Tyler's desk in there.
Love the french doors.
I love that you can see up into the play room from downstairs.
Guest room right off of the living room.
We just need to get a bed and then everyone can come visit!
Kitchen
Master bedroom.
Just our bed and a dresser!
Master bathroom
Master closet.
Master closet is connected to the laundry room.
....and laundry room is connected to the mudroom.
And that's the whole house!
And now for the big surprise ending!
