The girls woke up to some fun new toys from Grandma!
They were a big hit.
Kendall trying to get a view of the bunnies in the backyard.
Looking at this picture makes me realize how much she has thinned out in the last few months. My baby really is growing up! (tear!)
Like I said, the bunnies were a huge hit. Avery loved chasing them and holding them and was always begging Aunt Kalie to come catch a bunny for her.
This girl was in heaven.
Tyler is trying to convince Avery that dirt biking is fun.
She was a little nervous at first!
Playing cars with Maddie and Tanner.
These kids played and played and played. It was so fun for Avery, I barely even talked to her for two days!
Kendall checking out the Manx.
Tyler and I got to go on two double dates with Trevor and Natalie while we were there. It was so fun to hang out with just the two of them and no kids to distract us! We took the Manx for a drive and Trevor and Natalie are behind us in their Corvette.
On the open road!
Gassing up before the drive home.
Tyler got to go shooting with his dad and brother.
Can't beat the view in Ridgecrest! Nothing around for miles...
Probably the funnest activity was a family dirt bike/Manx ride.
The kids LOVED it! Tanner and Avery started out on the bikes with their dads, but ended up in the Manx and each got a turn to "drive". Tyler's mom put on a big show of pretending to fall out and being bumped around while the kids were driving and they were eating it up. It was so funny to hear them squealing and laughing at all of Grandma's antics.
Puttin along
Maddie with Grandma and Grandpa
Family ride! We had so much fun!
Getting the kids all situated in the Manx. Tanner loved driving!
Avery warmed up to riding and had lots of fun with Tyler. She was all about giving thumbs up to everyone as we rode around.
The group!
Back home after a really fun ride.
No visit to the Hedmans would be complete without a trip to pink box donuts.
Avery just eats the sprinkles off the top.
The kids were entertained for hours in the garage playing "school bus"
Avery had so much fun with her cousins. When we were looking at these pictures later Avery pointed at Maddie and said "Maddie's the mom" and told me all about their make believe game they were playing.
Saying goodbye
3 year old hugs are the cutest.
They have to figure out how to get around each other's big heads.
Hugs for baby Kinley!
We had such a fun visit to see Tyler's family. It was exactly what we needed and we came back to Texas feeling refreshed and more optimistic about tackling the next couple months. We hope we can come back for another visit soon!
