We've had a busy week around here! We had a fun Valentine's Day last Sunday and then headed out to California for Tyler's week of PTO. It was a busy, action-packed week, but so, so fun! We wish we had another week to play.
Avery is all about making cheesy faces for the camera these days.
Here she is showing off her Valentine's love note and treat Daddy left outside her bedroom door.
Tyler worked the two shift on Saturday night so we had Sunday morning to spend with him before he had to go to work again. We made pink heart-shaped pancakes with berries, cream, and sprinkles for our Valentine's breakfast.
Avery found the gloves under the bathroom sink and thought they would be perfect socks.
On Monday we got free Chipotle for dinner!
I love Avery's squinty grin.
On Tuesday we headed out to CA. The girls were pretty good travelers, but flying with a one and two-year-old is no picnic. Much easier with Tyler to help out though!
On the other end Grandma and Kalie were waiting with signs for Anna and Elsa :)
Avery was so excited to see her Grandma!!
We met up with Trevor's family at the hotel by Disneyland and got to meet baby Kinley for the first time! She is a cute little chub and the most well-behaved baby I have ever met.
Getting an early dinner near the hotel.
It was warm enough to swim!
The water was a little cold though so everyone mostly stayed in the hot tub.
Avery wanted to keep swimming long after everyone else got tired. And she didn't mind the cold pool! This is when I'm glad she has a Daddy to swim with her. We had to drag her away eventually.
Kendall and Kinley in their matching jammies.
The next day we geared up for Disneyland! We had quite the stroller gang.
Our first stop was taking the girls to meet the princesses! I was so excited to for Avery to meet them since she spends all day every day playing with her princesses. Snow White was the first princess and I think Avery was in shock when we came around the corner and the real, live Snow White was standing RIGHT THERE! She was so shy and wouldn't even look at her. I thought it was adorable because Avery usually isn't very shy. I think she was star struck!
She wouldn't talk to Belle either.
(Kendall was already snoozing for her morning nap)
She did warm up to Cinderella though.
And gave her a big hug! It was so sweet!
Cinderella was so sweet with her too. It was so fun!
The whole gang in front of Cinderella's castle.

After the Haunted Mansion
Trying on pirate hats.
Casey Jr train ride. Avery is covering her ears because the speaker was right above our heads.
Waiting in line for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
The kids all conked out and Grandma watched them while we ran off to do some big kid rides. Thanks to Grandma we had excellent seats for the parade!
Waiting for the parade to start.
The parade! Avery and Kendall both really loved this. I didn't think it would hold their attention but they loved it!
Waiting to see Anna and Elsa.
The girls with Anna and Elsa.
We had a great trip to Disneyland! The girls did pretty good for such a long day. I can't wait to take them back when they both are a little older!
