Throwback to Match Day

Today we got the professional pictures from Match Day and Tyler's graduation ceremony in the mail. As we've been looking through them we were able to revisit the emotional roller coaster we experienced on Match Day only 4 months ago. (It's seems like a life time!)

Tyler was the first student called down to open his Match letter.

He was holding Avery so he took her down with him. (I can't believe how little she looks in these pictures!)

(Each person puts a dollar in the basket when they get called up and the last person called gets to keep all the money as a consolation for having to wait the entire time to get their letter.)

The entire audience was captivated by the little show Tyler and Avery put on, which lasted probably less than 2 minutes. It was pretty fun to be the center of attention for a few minutes and kick off the whole ceremony.

Meanwhile, I was back up in our seats shaking with anticipation to find out where we were headed.

We are happily settled here in Fort Worth and definitely feel like we made the right choice and feel so blessed that Tyler matched to his top program.
