Now that we have our housing situation all figured out we can relax and enjoy our last couple of weeks in Galveston. Sadly, our second year friends are all stuck inside studying for Step 1 (sorry guys!), but the Doxey's were kind enough to loan us their surf board so we could enjoy the waves. I have never surfed before, but after a couple days I'm getting pretty good!
Avery has been having a blast hanging out at the beach while Tyler and I take turns surfing.
Tyler is pro.
Unfortunately, I gashed my leg pretty good on one of the fins. I thought it was just a scratch, but when I got out of the water and got a good look at it, it was a pretty big cut. Tyler thought I could use a couple stitches so he sewed me right up! How convenient having an in-house doctor!
All done! We'll see how it turns out in a couple days.

You look good on a surfboard! Good thing there is a doc in your house! Now we know who to bring on our trips to the seaside!!
I'm dying at how cute Avery's swimsuit is! Does that come in my size? Probably looks better on her anyways :) Also, I'm jealous about the surfing and can't believe we didn't make it out even once while we were there! Oh well, maybe it's best that I never gave the sharks their chance to eat me.
