Tyler and I both had Memorial Day off so we spent the day up at the Texas City Dike with some friends. The weather was perfect. Overcast and not too hot. Avery loved playing in the sand with her friends Lawson and Raleigh. And Daddy of course.
Tyler had a little adventure when he decided to swim out and retrieve a football floating in the ocean. It never looks that far until you decide to go get it... I was a little worried I was going to be a widow, but he made it back safely with the football! ...which some kid promptly came and claimed. Tyler was nice and gave it back to him. I think he should have kept it for all the turmoil it put me through!

We also decided it was about time to make our announcement. I'm getting pretty pudgy these days. You definitely show faster on the next pregnancy. It's fun to finally have people in the know about our little bundle of joy arriving in December! My official due date is Dec 11th. I am 12 weeks along as of yesterday and feeling great!
Also, we've been getting a lot of rain here this week. I let Avery go play in it and it was so adorable I had to take a video.
