Life has been super crazy around here lately. I feel like I have zero time to myself. I'm either working, feeding or entertaining Avery, cleaning, cooking, or doing YW stuff. Tyler has been doing his surgery rotation so he's not around all that often. But here are some fun pictures of what we've been up to in between all of that.

It's permanent... it didn't come off for like 5 days.
We've been sickies around here. Avery had a nasty cold/virus that lasted over a week. She had such a bad cough I took her in to the doctor, but they said she was okay. Just had to work through it. I got it too and am still trying to get better. While Avery was sick she wasn't sleeping well because her cough would wake her up so we ended up holding her a lot while she napped.

We went to Moody Gardens and Avery was entranced by the huge aquariums. She was a little scared by the fish I think. She didn't realize the glass was separating them from us. A big sting ray swam right up against the glass next to us and she got all scared and clung onto me. It was cute.

Valentine's Day! Tyler got me See's chocolates! My favorite.
Yesterday Avery was playing with my toes and kept wanting to eat them. It was so funny! And gross.

When Tyler comes home for lunch we watch shows on his laptop. Avery thinks its a fun game to push the power button and turn the whole thing off...

Her favorite thing is to cling onto me. Tyler tries to entertain her while I cook dinner, but she inevitably ends up crawling into the kitchen and climbing up on my leg.

We went to the beach yesterday. All she wanted to do was eat the sand.

That was a lot of pictures. I need to blog more often. Only 3 more weeks and Tyler will be done with surgery rotation! yay!

I'm glad you posted this so I could get caught up on your life! I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!! Also that picture of Avery with the permanent marker all over face kills me, 5 days??! Haha

So cute! Adaline and Avery have a lot in common. The messy faces, their love of the fridge (Adaline sprints for it the second I open it), climbing on us while we're cooking, pulling all the books off the shelf, eating toes - and everything, playing with laptops, watching TV... I think they would be pretty great friends if they lived close.
Yeah, I only get an email when people leave comments on by blog; not when someone replies to my comment- I've always thought it was kind of a bad system.
Adaline is soo entertained by other babies right now, so that would be great for both of them!
And I think I started reading your blog when I was pregnant with Adaline because I became obsessed with anyone else that was pregnant-especially someone due so close to me. (I felt like a stalker too, but I don't think I'm the only one that does that kind of thing.)
Ah!l she's so cute. You guys look like great parents. Surgery is a tough one glad its almost over for you.
