Colorado Trip

The day after Tyler's STEP 1 test we flew out to Colorado to spend some time with my family before my little brother left on his mission.

We had a nasty 6am flight out of Houston, but Avery did great!

We fed her a bottle first thing on the flight and then she slept the rest of the way. Piece of cake.

When we got to the Denver airport we had to hang around for a couple hours until my brother's flight got in from the east coast.

He just got home from his mission in March, but I still hadn't seen him since I couldn't fly out due to my pregnancy.

We had a happy reunion at the airport and Kent got to meet his niece for the first time.

That night we met up with my dad down in Denver for dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants.

We spent the next week and a half just hanging out, resting and recuperating from the most stressful 2 months I've ever had in my life.

My mom helped me make this bow frame for my friend from high school who is having a baby girl this month. She scheduled her baby shower so I could be in town for it. I am not crafty at all so I am pretty proud of it!
