32 weeks

Holy smokes, where does the time go??

This pregnancy has gone by so fast. Baby Girl is going to be here before we know it! I'm not ready for her yet!! Although we are super excited for her to get here.

Here's a picture Tyler took of me this weekend.

32 weeks and counting!

But let me back up a little. This month has been super busy for us, as has become the norm for us.

Here are some of the highlights.

To start off with the most important... here's a pic of our tasty BLTs we made a while back. I don't know why I like blogging about our BLTs so much. They just look so dang good when you put it all together.

Next up, Tyler finally purchased a new wallet! This is big news.

Tyler has carried around the same wallet since he was in middle school and he is super picky about what he wants out of a wallet.

The guy is a minimalist, so the wallet needed to have as few pockets as possible, while still serving it's function as a wallet.

(I don't know if you can tell, but we have discussed his wallet needs in great detail. I've wanted to get him one for a present for a while, but he's so picky I had to let him just get his own!)

Finally, after much searching he came upon a website with the perfect wallet and finally pulled the trigger.

Ok, and now we get to the good stuff!

Last weekend I got to go home to see my family! My mom's friend and her daughter offered to throw me a baby shower and my mom is always looking for an excuse for me to come home for a visit (and so am I!) so I flew out to Denver for a long weekend.

It was so great! My brother and his wife surprised me and came over from Utah from the weekend so we had a little family reunion.

It was really fun to see everyone.

My shower was so much fun. Lots of people from the ward came which meant a lot to me. I guess they haven't forgotten about me just yet!

I also got to see one of my friends from high school who recently moved back to the area with her little family. She is also expecting (in July!) so we went and got pregnancy messages together while I was there.

Best. Thing. Ever.

I told Tyler by the time we're on our 4th kid (and he's actually making money!) he better buy me a monthly membership to a message place so I can have unlimited messages during my pregnancy. 

Ahhh, that would be heaven.

I feel so blessed by the generosity of everyone and more importantly that they care enough about me to come to my shower and say hi.

It was really fun to see everybody and I love how excited they are for me!

Also, while I was home it decided to snow. Their biggest storm of the season so far. We got a whole foot!

Since living down here in TX and I haven't missed the snow at all, but I have to admit it was pretty fun to get snowed on.

Maybe I don't mind it so much after all :)

One other really neat thing that happened over the weekend is my little brother Cody was ordained to be an Elder. He leaves on his mission to Brazil in June!

At my last dr appt on Friday, Dr said Baby Girl is doing great and I passed my glucose test and everything so it's pretty much an uneventful pregnancy, which is good!

I can't believe we are only 8 weeks away from our little girl getting here. Today Tyler said to me, "you're having a baby next month!"

It kind of freaked me out! I can't believe how fast it's gone and I'm worried we are in for a shock when she gets here. Things are going to be very different around here.

But that said, we are super excited and we are eagerly counting down the days.

She is such a mover is always turning over in there and jabbing me. She hates it when I rest my hands on my belly. She wants me to give her her space!

I love watching my belly move. 

I get distracted a lot watching my belly move and feeling my stomach. It's so fun to know that she is in there! I can't wait to meet her.

Besides all of that fun stuff we have had plenty going on with the normal stuff of life. Tyler has a lot going on at school and plays on an intramural basketball team and I keep busy with work and keeping food in the house.

We also had New Beginnings for Young Women's this last week and it was so amazing. I was so impressed with the girls. They were each assigned a YW value to talk about and they went way above and beyond with their contribution to the program. I always love hearing from the Young Women and it was another opportunity for them to remind me how incredible they all are.

They have such strong testimonies and the neatest stories to share.

I always come away from things like that telling myself I need to do less talking and more listening to my girls. They really are great.

This was a monster of a post!

I'd like to say I'll get better, but the way things are right now... probably not gonna happen. We'll see!
