Texas Pride

The Texans are making us one of their own little by little.
This week we finally had to give in and register our car here in Texas.
We were so sad to give up our California plates!
But now our car has something to remember Galveston by more than just the rust, grime, salt from all this humid ocean air.

In other exciting news, guess what I found at the grocery store??
BOUNTY!!

I LOVE these things! This was my favorite candy bar from when we lived in Prague. It's just an Almond Joy without the almond, but they don't make those here for some reason I can't figure out. You may ask, why don't I just eat a Mounds?? But that has dark chocolate, so... not the same.
Anyway, this is the first time I've seen these in the States. I'm lucky I was poking around in the foreign foods isle in Kroger! YUM!!

This weekend we had a really fun activity with the Young Women.
A family in the neighboring stake have a ranch with a few horses and they invited us up to come ride them.
The girls had a great time!!

Before we got to the horses the girls held some of their chickens.
Apparently the chickens really love being held. haha!

They had a super friendly dog named Levi. He loved to be petted and would nudge your hand if you stopped. So cute! Makes me miss my Yana girl.

Petting the horses.

Preggo me. Haha

Grooming Casper the friendly horse.

Riding!

Cute Kaia!

Our group at the end!

It was a fun day! I am pooped!
The bigger I get, the harder it is to stay on my feet. I think my feet are starting to swell a little bit and it doesn't help that I'm carrying around an extra 30 pounds. Ugh. Good thing I love you, little girl!
She's moving all around, squirming in my belly as I write this.
I am getting so excited to meet her!
Only 7 weeks to go from today!!!

Your activity looks so fun!! Imagine that, chickens wanting to be held! Someday I hope those license plates say Colorado on them!!! Get some rest! Love you guys!
