Fishing

On Saturday we went fishing with Mary and the Anderson's from our ward. Well, I should say Tyler went fishing because I didn't really do it. While the boys and Mary fished, me and Katelyn chatted while we followed Lawson around on the beach (he is so cute and I loved his little footprints in the sand!). At the end Tyler wanted me to try it and I lost the weight on my first cast so... I pretty much stink at fishing. Anyway, they had a great time and Tyler caught 2 fish! He caught Croaker which we were pretty excited about bringing home and eating, but everyone we talk to keep saying things like, "you must not be very picky about the type of fish you eat" or "you're going to eat that?" Despite all these distressing comments we are still planning to eat the fish. I'll let you know how it goes. I failed to remember to bring the camera to get pictures of the actual fishing event (Tyler says he didn't think it would be worthwhile because he never catches anything), but I did get some of him cleaning the fish at home.

Nasty fish head in the sink! It just stares at you!! ewww!!

It took Tyler almost the entire first session of Conference to clean the 3 fish he came home with. Even if the fish is super tasty I'm not sure it's worth all the hassle!
