Moving to Utah!

We are finally settled in Utah! Here are some pics of leaving Texas and arriving in Utah!

Avery had her field day at school!

Reagan graduated from pre-k. Her graduation ceremony was so cute. We really loved her teacher and I'm sad Sawyer won't get to attend that preschool.

Look at that cutie

Avery's school awards. She had a fun group of friends at school that she will miss!

Kendall with her teacher! She loved her and had a great year!

Camping in beds after we sold the bunk beds. The kids thought it was fun!

Our neighbors hosted a going away BBQ for us. We are going to miss these cute girls so much. They were such good friends for the kids!

We also had to get a picture with Ms Cookie from the gym who greeted us every day! She had a soft spot for Reagan and Sawyer.

Dinner date with my favorite friends. Wish I could take them with me.

We are going to miss the psuedo grandparents from our ward who loved on our kids.
They Lyons brought the kids gift bags with candy and games for the road trip.

Another one of our neighbors had the kids over to make tie dye shirts.

One last pic in front of our house!

We stopped in Denver for a couple days to visit my parents and rest up for the second leg.
Reagan loved playing with my furbies. Remember those?!

Grandpa treated everyone to gourmet popsicles.

They were tasty and the weather was so nice!

Tyler and I went on to Logan alone and unpacked without interruption for 5 days while my mom and dad kept the kids. It was so helpful and we got so much done!
They brought the kids over on Father's Day and my brother drove up from Saratoga Springs to see us and my parents. The kids all loved baby Jay!

The kids loved the secret hide out the best!

We live at the top of a hill and have a great view of the valley!

Went on a family hike our first week here! The kids all did great!

Our neighborhood had a block party our first week and it was so nice to have an easy way to meet so many people. The kids have had no problems making friends.

My grandma was in Utah valley for my cousin's baby's blessing and came up to visit us on her way back to Denver. It was fun to show her our new house and take her to try one of the local dessert food trucks. This one had italian ice and gelato - yum!

We also got to go swim at her hotel pool!

She's gets around really well for being 80!!

Watermelon on the back porch!

Our friends (Doxey's) took us boat on their boat! The kids LOVED it and are dying to go again!
*Adding boat to our long list of toys to buy*

Went on a hike with the Doxey's a different day. Our kids all get along super well and keep asking to have play dates.

We made a 4th of July dessert! Sally's Berry Ice Box cake. Two thumbs up!

We found the perfect place to watch the fireworks show, which was on the 3rd.
Worked out super well because Tyler worked the 4th but we still felt like we got to celebrate with him.

The kids and I went to a parade on the 4th.

My pictures are mixed up, but this was back in Denver. My Dad took Kendall to work with him one day and Kendall got to work with one of the artists that designs the mannequins. Kendall had a great time and loved it. Julia gave Kendall a big lump of clay to take home and Kendall makes little figurines out of it.
I love that my dad took the time to give Kendall a real world application for how she could use her artistic skills!

They went on a lunch date during their work day.

Our last day of primary in Texas the kids got to sing their favorite songs.

Our neighbors John and Sue were so awesome with the kids. It's hard to leave such a supportive community!

Bailey took a couple days to warm up to my dad so we had to document when she finally decided she liked him.

Another successful bunny hunt with Dad! Idk how he catches them!

My mom surprised the kids with a visit from Sister Bird, our old neighbor in Texas! She lives about 45 minutes away from my parents now.
They were soooo excited and surprised to see her!

Grandma also took them to the butterfly pavilion.

And pizza for lunch after! They just lived it up while me and Tyler set up house!
I'm so grateful to my parents for keeping the kids for a few days. It was soooo helpful.

Family pic on our new porch!

And one with the grandparents.

We are feeling pretty settled. Having fun exploring our new community and meeting new friends.
Tyler is definitely the most stressed trying to get acclimated to his new job, but hopefully he'll like it more in the long run!
