Summer fun and cousins visit!

We've been trying to squeeze in some fun the last couple weeks of summer.

Avery starts school on Monday!! I can't believe summer is over and baby Sawyer is almost here!

Avery and Kendall finished up summer swim lessons.

Kendall especially has improved SO much!

She went from not wanting to put her face or ears in the water to being able to swim to the side by herself. I'm really proud of her!

We checked out a new indoor play place in Fort Worth.

The kids all loved it and didn't want to leave even after 3.5 hours!

A new person in our ward has a giant bunny and invited the kids over to see it.

They all loved it, of course. And I was sneezing and itchy by the end of our visit.

She also had a couple of baby bunnies for us to hold.

Dad found some frogs while he was mowing the lawn!

Reagan loves to be one of the big girls.

Tyler replaced the brakes on his car.

He fixes humans and cars! Is there anything he can't do?

Our friends from Austin came to visit us.

We took them to Pirates Cove!

The girls loved playing together and did lots of tea parties.

And princess dress ups.

Our neighbor got a puppy!

He is really cute!

The girls can't get enough.

We love it because they get to play with him a ton, but we don't have to take care of him!

Finally got around to taking the kids to the dentist.

No cavities!

My girls love the dentist. I think they just like all the attention.

The cousins came!!!

And brought the Barbie Dream House from Gramma and Grampa!

They played together with it all weekend. 

Natalie and I went to Waco! I've been to the Silos lots of times, but I haven't been able to try the Magnolia Table restaurant yet because the wait is always ridiculous. The food was so good and totally lived up to the hype!

It was so nice to get some girl time!

It was suuuuper hot!

We both bought something from the store and got cupcakes for our families.

We also tried out a nearby creamery Natalie's friend recommended. It was good and really hit the spot because it was so hot!

They got to come to church with us! All the kids happily went to class.

Maddie got to be taught by Uncle Tyler and Tanner got to go to class with Avery.

Maddie was super cute playing with Reagan. Reagan loved her.

Natalie and I completed Sally's August baking challenge together!

I put Trevor to work. 

He's so handy he can hang a coat rack with a hammer!

I'm so excited the kids have a place for their backpacks now!

We took them to Dream Park downtown.

It's a fun park, but it was too hot to stay for long.

We had to get them In-n-out one last time before they moved east.

Trevor also helped Tyler install a peep hole in our front door.

Works great!

Now we can hide from all the solicitors!

We went to Pirates Cove! Everyone loved it!

Reagan loves the Barbie Dream House too!

We had so much fun with our cousins and were so sad when it was time for them to go! Avery and Kendall keep asking when we can go visit them. It's so fun to see them playing together and being friends.

Now we are getting the final things ready for school and enjoying our last week of summer! Avery starts school on Monday! And I'm 36 weeks pregnant now so baby Sawyer could come anytime. Time to pack the hospital bag!
