We're finally back and recovered from our big trip to Croatia and Greece! It was amazing and exhausting! International travel is no walk in the park!
...especially at 30 weeks pregnant.
The day before we left my friend threw me and my other pregnant friend a baby shower. We are both having boys!
Grandma Engstrom came and stayed with the kids.
Avery said they had so much fun they didn't miss us at all! haha
My mom is a pro Grandma and held down the fort for us with no problems!
Boarding our catamaran "Tom Sawyer".
Had to get a pic with baby Sawyer.
We would sit out on the net and relax while we sailed around the islands.
Gorgeous views the whole time!
The water was so clear and clean and the most beautiful color.
It was a little chilly when you first jumped in, but felt amazing because it was so hot!
This pic shows the pretty color a little better, but I still don't think the camera was able to capture it that well. You can see how clear it is though. You can see Tyler's whole body!
We did some paddle boarding at one of the ports.
Our skipper let Bryce do some sailing.
We would stop and swim in these beautiful coves and then lay out on the catamaran to dry off.
Taking in the gorgeous views.
We did an electric bike tour around these lakes.
Stopped to swim and cool off in the middle.
Beautiful water.
Napping in the sun.
Swimming in a cove.
After sailing we went to Dubrovnik.
First stop, gelato!
Exploring the city.
Apparently these steps are recognizable from Game of Thrones.
There were GOT walking tours all over the place.
Old Town was so pretty and clean. This stone paved the whole city.
On the outside of the old town wall.
We had to hike up a mountain of steps to get to our apartment!
Accommodations were a bit tight.
Loved all the narrow alleyways.
First gyro of the trip! It was good!!
Up on the wall surrounding Old Town.
Love the red roofs.
We had to spend the night in Athens before we could board our ferry to Santorini the next day. Got another gyro!
Finally made it to Santorini! ....and got another gyro!
We did eat other food besides gyros, but these were the best thing we had!
Beautiful Santorini!
Our hotel was heavenly.
Cooling off in the sea!
It was so hot the whole time we were there!
Europe was in the middle of a heat wave.
Thira
Got to see the beautiful Santorini sunset.
Oia
Sunset view from Oia
Tyler caught a lizard (of course he did!)
Went back to Athens for a day to see the sights before we came home.
The Parthenon!
We loved the Acropolis museum.
Very cool artifacts and the AC was heavenly!
A view of the Acropolis from a distance.
Ancient gold coins
After many delays we finally made it home to our babies!
Reagan was so happy to see Dada she wouldn't let go.
I told Avery I would take her on a special date if she was good for Grandma and Grandma said she was a big help! She wanted to go to Bahama Bucks.
The girls left an umbrella outside when a big windy storm came. Daddy had to rescue our umbrella from the fence and all the girls were very impressed.
Movie night with Olivia. Even Reagan was into it!
Olivia spent the night on her birthday Eve so we made her pancakes in the morning and sang to her. The girls Love birthdays!
Avery reading a book to Reagan.
Avery is really sweet with Reagan and takes good care of her.
My birthday! Avery insisted that I wear the birthday crown all. day. long.
Tyler got me flowers and went out and got us breakfast burritos for breakfast!
And Tyler and Avery made me a birthday sur-pies!
sooo tasty!
They put together my spice racks my parents got me for my birthday.
My spice cabinet is much more organized now!
Our landscaping needed to be weeded and re-mulched.
Ta-da! Happy Birthday to me!
It looks so much better now!
Reagan is getting so big!
She loves to play princesses now and is talking up a storm.
I just thought Kendall looked so sweet sleeping with her doll I had to take her picture.
