April update!

One of my favorite things about Texas.

I accidentally found out the gender of our baby at my doctors appointment so we got a nothing bundt cake to tell the kids what we are having!

It's a BOY!!! Everyone is so excited!!

A kid in our ward was trying to earn money for a school project so I paid him to come weed our yard. He was very thorough! Our backyard has tons of weeds so it took him forever.

We've been doing lots of bike rides lately because the weather has been so nice.

Got DQ ice creams one Friday night while Tyler was working.

Avery is 6!

She got French toast for breakfast.

Her big present was a Nugget, which is just a big cushion.

But the kids all love it and play with it every day!

Avery wanted ice cream and oreos for her birthday treat so I got her an ice cream cake from DQ. She's a girl after my own heart.

We had a "late-over" with friends.

They had pizza, did a craft, opened presents, played and had a movie night with popcorn and drinks in their pjs. Parents picked them up at 10pm.

Since the weather is so nice we stop at the park in front of the gym most mornings after my workout. Kendall was so cute helping Reagan go down the big slide.

We got toe plant flowers in their garden.

Kendall had this great idea that if she put her bunny face on the library bunny would think she was a bunny too and come close to her.

She sat like this for like 5 minutes!!

They got their hair washed and thought it was amazing.

This is what Kendall does most nights after Avery and Reagan go to bed.

She still takes a nap most days so she isn't tired until like 10pm.

I don't mind her staying up because she just sits at the table and draws for hours. We go through so. much. paper.

She would frequently drop her eggs out of her basket as she was picking new ones up.

Avery had to do some serious climbing for some eggs.

I got a small bookshelf from someone shutting down their preschool.

I let the girls help me paint it. I'm still working on it so no after pics yet.

Tyler found a good deal on some bikes on Craigslist so we went to check them out. Now we have two new bikes!

We was Super impressed with his wheelie.

And our friend is letting us borrow their baby seat for the back! Our new favorite thing is to ride around the neighborhood in the evening.

Reagan loves it!

Part of our bike rides is to go look in the new houses they are building and see the progress. Some day we'll have a complete neighborhood, but for now we are enjoying the privacy!

We had a fun Friday night we friends getting popsicles downtown and playing in the grass.

I made tomatoes caprese for our ward Easter brunch this morning.

Avery said it "looked gross, but smelled delicious." lol

My mom is coming into town tonight to stay with the kids while we go to Austin for a couple days next week to celebrate our anniversary. 

Tyler has one more night shift to go and then we are freeeee!
