Easter and other fun

We've had a busy month with Avery's birthday and Easter and lots of fun parties and events.
Avery all ready to go to her Easter party at school.

Kendall got to join in on the fun lunch.

Avery really wanted a picture with her Easter cookie.

Painting Easter eggs.

Kendall loved this.

Daddy and Avery's eggs.

Kendall showing off all the eggs.

Daddy and Avery found a lizard!

Avery looooves these guys! We had to convince her to let it go after a couple days so it wouldn't die. She's convinced it's still living in our garage and will come back into it's cage when it's all full of bugs.

Kendall was brave and held it!

Avery let it out of the cage (which she wasn't supposed to do), but she caught it by herself and came to show me.

Easter egg hunt on Easter!

Found some in the tree!

Lots of eggs!

Avery had a hearing and eye test at her 4 year old doctor check up. I thought it was so cute and she listened to the directions very intently before the test.

She also got shots and refused to walk, which made her legs way more sore I'm sure. She had me carry her over to the toys and laid there for hours playing. She would tell Kendall, "Bring me that." "Put that over there." And Kendall would do it just further enabling the cripple.

We were dying for some Costa Vida one day so we drove up to Keller for lunch. So worth it! yum!!

The kids love to play in the dirty laundry while I'm getting ready for the day. Ew.

Avery's Spring performance at school. It was so cute!! All the songs are about God and Jesus. It's so funny to hear Avery tell me stuff like "Jesus is the King" and other stuff that we don't hear very commonly in the LDS vernacular. So far we haven't run into any doctrinal conflicts. haha Avery is signed up to do preschool here again next year.

We went to Cici's pizza with the Bodily's after the trampoline park one day. The girls have never been and they loved it.

I think Kendall ate almost 3 pieces of pizza!

Birthday party for a friend in Avery's class.
They lived on this beautiful property with lots of land. I had no idea they had such extravagant homes in Burleson!

Birthday treats!
(It was a pajama party)

Avery really wanted to make chocolate covered pretzels one day.

Of course they made a huge mess.

Never a morsel of wasted chocolate with this girl.

Avery picked out a present with her birthday money from Grandma! It's her new favorite toy!...and even floats in the bath!

I rented a carpet cleaner to clean our carpets. Nasty. But the carpet feels great!

Caught herself in the net.

Nature walk at the Botanical Gardens.

...with Ethan! Avery loves hanging out with him. It's sad they moved up north.

Checking out the turtles.

Looks like fun! Tanner and Maddie just had their doctor check ups this week too. Such a relief when their hearing and vision is OK!
