Avery did great on the flight out. I hid her under my nursing cover and she slept the whole time! Phew! She's been on 3 planes so far and every time she has been a champ. Let's hope the trend continues!
My cousin and his wife just moved into my parent's ward while he goes to law school at CU. They just had a baby last month and I finally got to meet him! It's amazing what 3 months can do to a baby. Avery is way huge and advanced compared to Rhett!
I also got to meet up with a couple of my friends from high school. My friend Sami just hot her PhD! And my friend Caitlin just had a baby girl in July! Look how far we've come.
My mom LOVES little miss Avery and holds her more than I do! I think Avery loves Grandma too!
Every morning my mom and I have gone on a run with Avery in the jogger stroller. The combination of the altitude plus pushing a jogger stroller is killing me, but I'm getting better! My mom is in amazing shape and I had to keep telling her I needed a walking break because my lungs were burning. That woman can just go and go!
Check out that beautiful front range! I can't wait to move back to the mountains. The beach is fine, but the mountains are spectacular!
My mom is helping me with some sleep training for Avery (more on that later), so we dug up one of my old stuffed animals to put in her crib with her. I carried this bear everywhere for years and it's a little worse for wear, but it's the perfect size for little Avery. She can just barely fit her arms around it. It's funny how I can still love that little bear after all these years! I love seeing Avery with it.
My brother and his wife drove over from Utah for the weekend just to see me and Avery. It was really fun to see them for a couple days. I wish we lived closer! Avery loved Bryce. We think it's because he sort of looks like Jesus right now...
Grandma and Avery. My mom will play with Avery for hours. They both love it!
One day we took her swimming. Avery still loves the water. My Engstrom genes are coming out in her!
Avery found her toes and is always playing with them! Oh to be that bendable...
Bath time in Grandma's kitchen sink!
Avery loves chewing on Mommy's necklaces.
FaceTime with Daddy! We didn't forget about him!
Grandpa loves Avery too! My dad gets home pretty late at night, but he loves seeing Avery for a few minutes before she goes to bed. Love this Avery face.
She finally found her thumb! Tired baby.
Before we boarded the flight I needed to use the restroom and I wasn't sure what to do with Avery. I found a family bathroom and just laid her in the changing compartment carrier and all. She was perfectly content just to lay in there. I was dying!

Bryce cut Avery's nails while he was here. Usually that's Tyler's job and I'm glad someone else did it since Tyler isn't here. I'm too scared I'll chop her little finger!

And that's been our week! I love that I don't have to make dinner, clean the kitchen, go grocery shopping, clean the house, etc etc. And my mom helps out a ton with Avery and watches her while I work. I may never leave! Except we do miss our Daddy. Vacations have to end sometime, but I'm glad I still have another week!

Staying at your parents house is the best. Can't believe how much she's grown!
Chandra, I remember that bear! It's nice to see it has more love to give. Your little one is adorable!
Too funny Cammie!! we were just talking about you this weekend when Bryce was here. You babysat us once in Parker and we watched Unsolved Mysteries and we were all scared! You told me you'd bring me candy next time if I ran upstairs to get Kent a diaper. Bryce says that wasn't you, but I swear it was!
LOVE that baby!!!! It's AWESOME being a Grandma!!! Thanks for coming to play!!!
