19 weeks

I had Tyler take a picture of me today and wow, I look pregnant! 

Where did that belly come from? 

I feel like I have really popped out the last couple days. I finally had to resort to the rubber band trick for my work pants on Tuesday. 

Tomorrow, I am definitely wearing a dress.

More importantly, I felt the baby kick for the first time this past week! 

I was at work last Thursday and while I was busily typing away in my office and I felt a little something that didn't feel like normal intestinal movement. So I stayed really still and felt a couple more little movements and then a big kick and I was sure that was the baby. I was so excited and texted Tyler about it right away.

Since then I feel the baby every day. I think I just had to figure out what I was feeling, but now that I know, I don't know how I missed it. I always feel it the most when I've been sitting really still for a while, so it's usually while I'm working. It so fun.

Tyler even got to feel it kick already. I thought he wouldn't be able to feel it for another couple weeks, but he's started putting his hands on my belly whenever we're sitting around together and he's been able to feel it a couple times.

Ahh, I love it! There's something in there!

We were supposed to find out what we're having last week, but there was a mix up at the doctor's office with the scheduling and we didn't get to have our appointment like planned :(

When we showed up for our appointment they told us the doctor was unexpectedly out of town that day and they had called everyone on the schedule to let them know, but since they had forgotten to put us on there we didn't get a phone call. So lame!!

So, now we're rescheduled for Dec 14th. 

Only a week and a couple days to go!

Ok, here's my pregnant belly. Man, I am huge all of a sudden!

Also we did some decorating for Christmas around here this year.

Cute, right?

And just since I took this picture I might as well put it up.

These are the flower arrangements I made for the YW in Excellence activity we had last week.

I don't claim to be the creative type so I was pleased they didn't look like a total mess. Thankfully, it's kind of hard to go wrong with flowers.
