Family Reunion (CO visit part 1!)

Before I do vacation pics here are a couple from the end of the school year.

Tyler went on Avery's field trip to the Cowboy's stadium.
They got to tour the locker room and play on the field!

Class awards day!

Proud of these our girls!

They had a fun field day at school with their friends!
I thought it was cute they all came off the bus in their matching shirts.

They had a combined Activity Days pool party and got to watch a movie on the big screen while they swam. Pretty fun!

Avery has been learning to cook herself some eggs.

Our friends asked us to tend their pool and chickens while they were out of town so we went swimming every day. We rescued a mouse from their drain and then the kids played with it for the next hour.

They like holding the chickens almost as much as the swimming.
(And we collected probably 30+ eggs while we were chicken tending!)

We had fun taking a bunch of jumping pictures of the kids.

We set off on our road trip to Colorado. I flew my mom down to help me drive up since Tyler wasn't coming with us. We stopped in Alamosa so visit the Sand Dunes and my Dad met us there. All the kids were so excited to swim with him in the hotel pool.

Hotel breakfast!

The Sand Dunes were very cool!
I got some awesome pictures before too many people showed up.
We rented sand boards to slide down the sand hills with.

This creek at the bottom of the Dunes is only here for a couple months out of the year.
We came at the perfect time!

Sand boarding!

The littles liked digging in the sand.

After we sand boarded we played in the creek.
The kids had fun walking through the water.

They also built a sand castle with Gma and Gpa.

After the Sand Dunes we drove the last 2 hours to the reunion.
They had a hot springs pool to swim in.

Grandpa was a good sport playing with the kids in the water.

Lots of fun family time!

The whole gang!
This is my mom's family. So her mom, and sister and brother, and all their kids/grandkids.

Each family took a day to make all the meals.
I made monster muffins for part of the breakfast on our day and they were a big hit.

Grandpa cooked up a bunch of sausages with a little helper.

There were lots little girls Reagan's age so she had fun sitting with them for all the meals and playing with them all day.

We played kickball and Avery helped Sawyer run the bases.

I took a few pitches!

Sawyer got the hang of it pretty quick and never got tired of it!
I can't wait to sign him up for t-ball!
(We're pretty sure he's a lefty so he'll make a great pitcher!)

Lots of fun little friends.
(All the little kids are second cousins)

My Grandma with her Great grandkids.

We flew a kite!

We did a square dancing activity!

We had to call Tyler on the landline every night because there was no cell service up there.
We could text a little bit on the wifi, but couldn't make calls.

Avery found (and caught) a snake!

Went on a little walk and took some pics of beautiful CO

Love my girls, they're getting so big.

Reagan took a nap on the couch with pregnant Aunt Camila.

Grandpa had to blow up his boat to set up his oar frame so we tested it out in the pool.

The had horses (and goats) on the property that the kids loved to feed and pet.

We had a great visit with family. Played lots of games and got to know cousins I haven't seen in years.
The littles all had a blast running around with the other kids.
Time to head out to go rafting.....!
