Ski trip

Some of my pictures are out of order, but I'm too lazy to fix it. Here's some of what we've been up to lately!

We went to Utah for a ski trip with the Engstroms!

Grandma hung out with Beau and Sawyer while we skied. They had lots of cousin fun!

Before we went to Utah we had a play date with some friends.

Sawyer desperately wanted to hold her baby and wouldn't stop asking until he got to.

It was really cute how happy it made him to finally hold the baby!

Grandma and Aunt Kenzie went to the Dinosaur museum while we were skiing.

We had a snow day in Texas! They canceled school and everything! It was bitterly cold.

The cold didn't stop the kids from playing outside with the neighbors.

We did a fun lesson on Noah's ark, with a craft.

Our neighbor gave us a few bags of clothes that her daughter had outgrown.

It was a goldmine! We kept almost everything!

Avery was VERY excited about some cat pajamas.

Sawyer is really into helping me cook lately and wants to help every time I cook.

The kids had Valentine's Day off from school and the weather was beautiful so we did a little hike!

We had our special Valentine's dinner with all red and pink foods.

Tyler and I finally got to run our half marathon we've been training for.

It was an early start!

We survived! Metals to prove it!

We finished a few minutes under 2 hours! Pretty fast!

Tyler had to use a walking stick to get up the stairs the next couple days lol

Back to our ski trip in Utah! The first day was a ski date just for us! We've never skied just the two of us before and that was fun. Unfortunately, I had the flu and did not feel great, but couldn't let a precious ski day go to waste so I toughed it out.

The next day we took the girls! Avery picked up right where she left off. She is doing so great!

Kendall needed a little coaching to get up to speed, but was doing great by the end of the day!

After a rough start Kendall figured it out and had a ton of fun. Tyler helped her a lot and made it fun.

By the end of day two she was begging to stay and ski another day.

We played arcade games at Fat Cats.

I made a round bread loaf in my Dutch oven for the first time and it turned out super tasty!

The girls had an open house at school for the first time since Covid started.

It was fun to go and see all their work!

We really love their school and teachers.

We feel very blessed that they get to attend this school!

 We had a great trip to Utah even though everyone was sick at one point or another! Not our best ski trip ever, but still really fun with the girls. They are good enough now that we will probably try Reagan out next time!
