Kendall's birthday and December fun

December has been full of fun!

The Bird's invited the girls over to bake Christmas cookies.
They bought them cute baker's aprons and Christmas plates to bring their cookies home on.

They are so sweet to our kids.

The girls loved it and talk about it all the time!

Sawyer getting a bath in the sink after a messy dinner.

Flash the elf showed up to play.
The girls loved writing him notes and drawing pictures for him all month.

Sawyer waking up after his nap.
He looked so funny laying there because he wasn't moving his arms.

Avery is so sweet with Sawyer and he loves her for it!

Kendall got to bring donuts in for her birthday!
I tried to bring them in the front office, but they said they weren't allowed so I just sent her to class with them around the back! lol
(Her teacher said it was fine so I guess her teacher is the real rebel. We love her!)

Tyler and Sawyer playing with guns.
(Sawyer's is a play gun.)

Tyler found a gun cabinet on Marketplace!

Everyone helping Kendall decorate her fairy birthday cake.

It turned out so cute!

Cinnamon rolls for the birthday girl!

We surprised her and took her to Legoland!
She has been talking about going ever since Avery got to go on a field trip.
I took a video of her walking up to the entrance since I was expecting a big reaction and... it was a huge bust. She had like zero reaction. wah waaaa.
She had fun inside tho!

Building cars for the track.

We were not impressed with the experience.
There were only a couple rides and a small play place and then just stations to build legos and lots of lego structures. It was not worth the money!
The kids had fun though and it was a fun way to spend Kendall's birthday.

In the afternoon we had the neighbor kids over to build gingerbread houses and eat cake.

Opening presents!

Kendall is 6!

Happy Birthday cutie!
She had a fun birthday!

That night, our friends were able to get sealed in the temple.
Tyler and I were the escorts for the kids so we got to hang out with them while their parents were sealed and then watch them get sealed to their parents.
We loved getting to be a part of their special day!

Avery trying out Kendall's cotton candy maker.

Building with her new lego set.

She built legos for 6 hours straight!

The kids had their primary program at church.
Avery and Kendall sang a verse all by themselves for one of the songs!

Sawyer helped me carry my exercise mat into the gym one day.
It's bigger than him!

Tyler got vaccinated for Covid-19! (1/2)

We had dinner with Clint Mickle's family (mission companion) a couple weeks ago and their son had so much fun playing with our kids he invited us to his birthday party the next week.
They rode bikes and played at the park and had pizza. Super fun!

They even had a pinata!

Christmas pics to come...

Glad your temple is open. Kendall is growing up so fast. I think she is going to be an engineer she likes legos so much. Great job!
