The girls did a 2 day dance camp and had lots of fun!
Reagan never wants to be left out of a picture.
Avery did a hip hop class and Kendall did ballet.
Having fun doing their kiwi crate activity.
Sawyer wants to be in on all the action.
The girls put Sawyer in baby jail to keep him away from their toys.
He didn't seem to mind.
We went swimming at a lake.
We went with ward friends so the kids had lots of playmates.
Sawyer liked sitting in the shallows.
I caught a snake for the kids since Daddy was inside.
I did not enjoy it. But the kids were happy!
Kendall is brave now!
Sawyer checking him out.
Finally days at pirates cove!
Till next summer!
Sawyer modeling the new rifle stock Tyler ordered for the broken gun.
Fixed it!
We had so much fun at the lake we went one more day.
Dad got to come this time!
(The water is definitely not pristine like Destin beaches.)
Kendall got to meet her teacher and see her classroom.
Mrs. Starkey has been AMAZING. We love her!
Tyler crashed his car.
He's okay, but the car is totaled.
So we got to pick out a new one!
2018 Nissan Rogue.
We went to Costa Vida for lunch to celebrate.
School started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first week was a hybrid of virtual and in person, but we made it through and now they are in school full time. It's amazing!!!
Avery is in 2nd grade this year. She has an awesome teacher too!
Avery doing her virtual learning.
She did well with it, but I'm sooo glad I don't have to do this all year.
I had to run in every 5 minutes to help her.
Flew to Portland to visit our friends before Kalie's wedding!
They took us to Pip's Donuts. Super good!
We went for a short hike and stopped by Multnomah Falls
We visited the Rose Garden.
Tyler and Jason were fascinated by the lovely blooms.
Tyler loved the roses so much he wanted them to be the focal point of every picture.
Oh wait, he does know how to take a picture.
I really wished my girls were here so I could take lots of pics of them in the roses.
Had to try the famous Voodoo Donuts.
Redwood observation deck.
This is just minutes from downtown Portland.
Sent a fun picture home to the kids.
Trevor stayed one night at the Hobbs with us.
We had fun hanging out and Diana made us Belgian waffles for breakfast.
We stopped for some lunch on our way to Crater Lake.
The service was slow, but the food was good!
Beautiful Crater Lake!
Worth the extra driving.
Everywhere you looked was breathtaking scenery.
My one, true love.
The newlyweds!
We're so glad we got to be there for Kalie and Travis' special day!
Lots of brothers looking out for her.
Only 10 years ago it was us coming out of the temple!
Tyler's favorite part of weddings... misspelling "congratulations" on the car.
The cake was beautiful!
So happy for the newlyweds!
Driving back up to Portland was scary.
Made it back home safe! The kids and Grandma all survived.
Grandma did amazing holding down the fort and getting them all to where they needed to go.
It was a super nice break for me!! I feel so refreshed!
This pic is Avery and Reagan walking to the mailbox. I thought they looked so cute holding hands.
It rained and the kids played in the mud.
Took Sawyer in for his 12 month check up.
He is up to 24%ile for height! (up from 10th) so we are happy he is growing!
We had a small party for Sawyer with a few family friends.
The girls helped me decorate his cake.
They love all these little animals and play with them constantly now.
He's one!
We love our boy! The girls are all so cute with him and love him so much.
Dad had to help him get started with his cupcake.
He liked it!
Opening presents.
He had lots of helpers.
Kendall's teacher is really good about sending the parents pictures of what the kids are doing.
They always have fun activities and I'm so glad we sent her to school! I'm relieved they aren't just sitting on a computer all day!
Reagan got to start gymnastics like the big girls!
She loves it!
