Utah Trip

We've been in Utah the past week for Kevin and Mikell's wedding. It was so fun to get to spend the week with the Hedmans and hang around our old digs.

We got Cafe Rio our first night there! 

We stayed at my aunt's house a couple nights. It didn't take Avery long to find some princess toys to play with.

We also got to swim in the Wells' pool. It was so nice just hanging out in the beautiful Utah summer evening.

Tyler and I snuck in a date to Maglebys. The girls fell asleep driving down from Draper in the morning (at like 9:30am) so we stopped at Magleby's for breakfast and ate outside while the girls slept in the car.

That 30 minutes was one of my favorite moments of the trip. It was so peaceful and relaxing and we still had our whole trip stretched out in front of us. I love whenever I get some alone time with Tyler. It happens too infrequently these days!

We visited The Colony, the apartments where Tyler and I met. So many good memories here.

Our first kiss happened on this doorstep to my old apartment. It was short, sweet, and I loved how Tyler just took charge and went for it. Tyler said good night and I went inside feeling all tingling and the rest is history!

Tyler and I were able to swing by the Cannon Center to visit Dallas and Amy for an hour before the reception. Dallas is one of my best friends from high school.

On Saturday we drove out to Westwater to go rafting with my family. It was a long day, but so worth it! The trip was so fun!

We had such a great trip. We were all so exhausted when we got home, but it was so refreshing to go see family and have some fun. We are counting down to the next trip!
