We are staying with Tyler's parents in Ridgecrest, California while Tyler does an away rotation at Loma Linda. He is doing pediatric emergency medicine and so far he has liked it a lot. He comes home with some gruesome stories. One kid accidentally got shot in the head with a flare gun. Tyler says you could see his brain. Another girl got impaled with the pedal of an exercise bike. They brought her in still stuck on the bike. Tyler got to put in her stitches. So maybe emergency medicine will be more like "Stories of the ER" than I thought. (Right, Mom?)
Tyler comes up to visit in between bouts of working. Avery and I get to hang around and play. I was worried Avery wouldn't like her Grandma and Grandpa that much since we haven't seen them too much, but she has no problems. She loves snuggling up for naps with Grandma.

Avery loves the bunnies. She was a little wary at first, but now that's all she wants to do is go outside and play with them. Which would be fine if it weren't 110 degrees!

I took Avery to nursery last Sunday. It. Was. Awesome. She's only 16 months, but they didn't ask or seem to care. She is more than ready.

Maddie has been so cute with Avery. She plays with her really well. It's been fun to have them together.
We just got back from a fun camping trip with the whole gang. Pictures to come! Tyler just left to drive back down to Loma Linda and work 5 days straight. Avery and I will leave for Utah on Monday for Kent's wedding so we are keeping busy around here!

These photos are so fun!! I loved them all!! I'm glad you got some of her going to the nursery, she looks like she's been going there all along. I think one of my favorite photos of Avery, like you, is of her standing in front of all the guys on their bikes. Pretty cute!
