Go Fight Win!

Some days/weeks I love my job and other days/weeks I get sick of it. (Like any job, I guess). But this week has been one of the good ones and I am loving what I get to do for a little extra cash (aka our bread and butter). I am continuing to do my regular coaching 3 days a week over the phone, but two days each week I get to go do onsite coaching for a company here in Texas. It's a huge pain to drive there (over an hour one way, ick), but I LOVE getting to meet with people in person. I feel like we have much better rapport and they are willing to open up and share a lot of their struggles with me. I've also found it very useful to be able to show them exercises in person. Describing exercises over the phone is nearly impossible!!

But the reason I'm so worked up about it right now is I just had a meeting today with someone back at the office about the extra activities I get to be in charge of besides my regular coaching. We're planning to start doing those in the next couple weeks and I'm really looking forward to it. Upcoming events include a presentation about healthy cooking, doing the Presidential Fitness Challenge, and an Open Ceremonies presentation for the year about getting to know your biometrics and measure your current fitness level. So fun! I cannot wait to get started! I am hoping to make a big difference for the employees over there. There are so many that have goals and want to improve their health, but don't know where to start or just don't have someone around to get them motivated to do anything about it. They WILL be motivated by the time I'm through with them!
